Concrete Lifting & Leveling (Mudjacking)

Concrete lifting and leveling (Mud Jacking) is a smart, cost-effective way to restore sunken or uneven slabs without tearing everything out. Instead of replacing your concrete, we carefully lift it back into place, correcting those trip hazards and drainage issues that come with settled slabs. The result is a smoother, safer surface that looks great and functions the way it should, often in just a few hours.
At MI Concrete Lifting, we use an all-natural slurry made from mason sand, bentonite clay, and water. This sand-based mix compacts firmly under the slab, providing solid, long-lasting support. It's heavy enough to stabilize, yet workable enough to fill voids and it's environmentally friendly. We choose this method because it addresses the root of the problem, those hidden voids under the concrete. While keeping costs well below full replacement.
To protect your repair, we also offer caulking with Sika non-sag polyurethane, which seals joints to help keep water out, reducing future washout and settlement. Together, this approach delivers a permanent fix that's ready for normal use right away.

Can Broken/Cracked Concrete be Lifted & Leveled?

Absolutely!
As long as the slab isn't heavily deteriorated or broken into a lot of very small pieces, they can almost always be brought back to where they need to be! Just check out the before and after photo below to see one that was pretty broken and settled get a new lease on life! One of the benefits to mudjacking is that we can make the slurry as thin or as thick as needed to get the right lift on almost any slab of concrete!
